Who We Are

We are urban winter operators for Squaw Valley, California. Crews train for narrow lanes, parallel-parked cars, bike corridors, docks, and constant pedestrian flow. We pre-map pile zones, hydrants, drains, and ADA paths so night shifts move with confidence.

You see what we see: time-stamped photos, melt amounts, and hazard flags for drains, shade lines, and trip risks. Reports fit insurance and HOA needs without extra formatting.

Why Choose EasySnowRemoval

Urban timing mattersbefore rush, between deliveries, after close. Backup crews and extra gear are staged nearby. Every visit ends with photos, timestamps, and melt logs you can forward instantly.

Surface respect is non-negotiable: blade shoes on pavers, rubber edges near curbs, carefully dosed melt on stone steps. We guard drains, hydrants, bike lanes, and planters, keeping your streetscape tidy and safe for pedestrians.

Proof In Every Pass
  • Geotagged photos with timestamps for each visit.
  • Alerts at dispatch, arrival, and completion, plus notes.
  • Melt records ready for HOA, condo boards, or insurers.
  • Refreeze patrol notes on shade lines and drains.

Process That Keeps Blocks Open

1) Daylight Walkthrough

We scout your block, flag drains, meters, planters, and pile spots, then brief crews with a digital map they carry at night.

2) Weather Desk

Our weather desk triggers action around traffic peaks, deploying pretreat and plows when results will stick.

3) Execution & Proof

Crews clear, photograph, and report. You get a concise summary with times, melt amounts, and any hazards spotted, ready to forward.

4) Refreeze Patrol

We return for slick spots near downspouts, shade, alleys, and stoops, applying melt precisely to avoid overuse while keeping grip.

Safety & Streetscape Care

Pedestrian safety drives our plan: cones for active plow zones, spotters for tight docks, and clear footpath routing. We edge carefully around curbs, bikes, and street furniture, keeping snow from blocking crosswalk sightlines.

Drainage and refreeze get constant attention. We keep slush away from drains, sweep edges clean, and flag any pooling to address on the next loop. Photos show the finished surface so you have proof before doors open.

Compliance Ready
  • Insurance-suitable logs with photos and melt data.
  • ADA routes prioritized with traction checks.
  • Measured melt protects planters, pavers, and stone.
  • Hazard flags for drains, hydrants, EV spots, and bike lanes.

Built For Every City Scenario

Mixed-use blocks need clean walks and open loading docks; we prioritize both. Residential streets need tidy drives and mailbox access; we deliver. Hospitality venues need inviting entrances and clear valet lanes; we keep them spotless.

Transit stops, schools, and clinics get priority walkways, ramps, and crossings. Night pushes are quieter where we can be, respecting neighbors while still clearing thoroughly. Pile placement protects sightlines and drainage, keeping your streetscape orderly.

Equipment Sized For The City

We pair small, nimble machines with sidewalk teams to move through the city quickly. Larger loaders stand ready for big accumulations. All gear is preflighted and fueled so your schedule stays intact.

Communication You Can Forward

Dispatch alerts, live ETA, arrival stamps, and completion reports with photos and melt amountsconcise enough to forward to boards, tenants, or leadership without edits.

If we see a hazarda lifted paver, a pooling drain, a slick railwe flag it with photos and queue it for the next pass. You stay informed and protected.

By 1942, Wayne Poulsen, a former star skier from the University of Nevada, had acquired 2,000 acres (810 ha) in the valley from the Southern Pacific Railroad. Poulsen met Alex Cushing, a Harvard University-trained lawyer, in 1946 while Cushing was vacationing at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort. During his vacation, Cushing toured the valley at Poulsen's invitation and decided to invest in building a ski resort there. Unlike Poulsen, Cushing had the political connections and access to the capital necessary to create a ski resort. In June 1948, the two founded the Squaw Valley Development Company and Cushing replaced Poulsen as president of the Squaw Valley Development Corporation by October 1949. Squaw Valley Ski Resort opened on Thanksgiving Day 1949. The resort was constructed with $400,000 raised by Cushing, including $150,000 of his own money. The creation of the Squaw Valley Development Corporation and Squaw Valley Ski Resort mark the modern era of the valley.
